Prostate gland enlargement symptoms (Symptoms of BPH - prostate disorder, also referred as BPH complications) may include urinary difficulties, urinary disorders, interrupted sleep, getting up to urinate, frequent urge to urinate, difficulty starting urination intermittent urination, start and stop urination, urine leaks, weak urine stream, weak urination, weak stream, difficulty urinating, leaking of urine, dribbling of urine, problems urinating, problems emptying bladder, partial emptying of bladder, poor urine flow, poor urination, inability to urinate, interrupted urine, weak stream of urine, interrupted weak stream of urine, urgency to urinate, frequent urination, urgent urination, night-time urination, interrupted urine flow, feeling pressure in the bladder, reduction of ability to urinate, delayed urination, blocked urethra, constriction of urethra, narrowing of urethra, blocking of urethra, emptying of the bladder, urinary retention, residual urine, weak bladder, incontinance, bladder incontinence or squeezing the urethra in men.

A physician's exam is recommended which can include a digital rectal exam (DRE) for diagnosing prostate symptoms. New techniques are also devised for monitoring BPH.
