Men With BPH Have Choices

Today there are several options available for the treatment of BPH (Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia). Your physician is in a position to decide which treatment is best for you. Fortunately, you, as a patient have choices when deciding whether to start on a prescription drug or a non-prescription, nutritional product. If your symptoms are mild and non-bothersome, you may prefer not to start taking a prescription drug that is associated with several serious side effects. Instead, you may prefer to take a non-prescription, nutritional product such as Prostex®, which is a proprietary blend of three amino acids (Glycine, Alanine and Glutamic Acid), and has been the choice of tens of thousands of men. Or, you may decide to postpone taking anything and consider "watchful waiting" as an alternative. If you select "watchful waiting", you should have follow up doctor visits to determine if any other problems have arisen during your "watchful waiting" period.
In addition to Prostex® capsules, one very popular natural product is Saw Palmetto capsules. Both of these choices, as an alternative to prescription medications, have no serious side effects. All men are different; therefore, both you and your doctor, should work together, to determine what course of treatment is best for you.
