Men in their forties and certainly in their fifties will have signs of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), which is the medical term for an enlarged prostate gland. All men would like to have a healthy prostate and not suffer with those symptoms associated with BPH.  But the reality is, when men reach a certain point in life, they should expect to experience symptoms associated with an enlarged prostate. One need only watch the tons of familiar television advertisements, which show men scurrying-off to a bathroom during a sporting event or while playing golf, to understand that among the symptoms of enlarged prostate are urgency and frequency of urination.  Most men would welcome a safe non-prescription, nutritional product that will help prevent or alleviate the problems associated with BPH.  Because BPH is so prevalent, one can find well over 100 marketed products that claim to help men suffering from an enlarged prostate condition. Prostex is one of those products, a proprietary blend of three non-essential amino acids (Glycine, Alanine and Glutamic Acid), which has helped tens of thousands of men with BPH. However; unlike those other products on the market, which depend on expensive television, radio and news advertising, Prostex has been sold for over fifty years, since 1953, by the most time-tested advertising method in the world.....by word-of-mouth. Because word-of-mouth feedback comes from the actual user, it has to be the most compelling evidence that Prostex works!

In 1999 I developed BHP. It became progressivlety more acute, leading to a TURP in January 2001. This did the trick and I had no serious symptoms until January 2006 when I began to experienc blood in the urine after running. My urologist attributed this to my running/cycling lifestyle. Another TURP in June 2006 got me back in shape. Well, the same thing has happened again and I have just had my third TURP.

I would be interested to hear from other BHP sufferers who are physically active. (BTW, I am 64.)
